Territory Manager

Our Client is an established, multi-national, specialist animal health company who are in the top 10 animal health companies globally and are on a growth journey. While their products have been sold under licence in New Zealand for a number of years, they are excited to now start building their own company presence within the New Zealand market.  We are currently looking for a Territory Manager - Companion Animals to join their team.  
 
Are you knowledgeable in the Companion Animal veterinary industry in New Zealand? Do you love working closely with Commercial/Practice Managers and Vets? As the Companion Animal Territory Manager for New Zealand, we need you to deliver sales results by focusing on customer needs and providing solutions with our Client's products.
 
Reporting the the Business Unit Manager for Companion Animals who is based in Australia, you will be the kind of person that enjoys technical selling.  You can grasp technical data and scientific knowledge and are capable of disseminating that information to a variety of audiences.  You have loads of personal drive, are highly motivated to succeed, are able to work autonomously and have a knack for building and nurturing commercially beneficial business relationships.

 
We’re looking for someone who is/has:
  • Demonstrated sales experience selling companion animal products to Veterinarians in New Zealand;
  • Degree qualified in science, business or similar;
  • Experienced in working with wholesalers;
  • The ability to frequently travel within New Zealand and occasionally overseas - this role is national and requires frequent travel;
  • Able to work well within a remote team and the drive and desire to work independently - you will be the only New Zealand based Companion Animal person at this time but will need to leverage resources from your wider team based in Australia
