My Client is looking to add a Sales and Merchandising Star to deliver sales targets and a sales strategy in an FMCG arena covering all of Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region 

This would be a good role for someone that wants to work independently but part of a wider powerful team.

You will be looking after an International Brand and its products maintaining a call cycle and ensuring customers have appropriate level of service. This is a leading international brand that you will be excited to sell and promote its products

 

Managing and growing customer relationships, negotiating deals, conducting sales promotions, campaigns events and displays will be second nature to you.


About you

Sales experience preferably within an FMCG environment

Ability to work with sales budget, sales target and other sales KPI

Experience working within the On Premise channel

Enjoy working a commercially focused high performing team 

Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Able to quickly build effective, trusting relationships, always focused on customer service needs

A true team player who is well organized with great time management skills and a drive to succeed!

Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

The ability to manage a regular call cycle.

Providing unbeaten service levels to our customers.

Maintaining and developing strong relationships with all key store contacts, merchandisers , and your team

Implementing and maintaining a high level of merchandising standards.

In addition, you will be involved in product merchandising, product training and presentations, implementation of promotional activity, new products launches and participation in customer Trade Shows.

 

To secure this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.

A true team player who is well organized with great time management skills and a drive to succeed!

The salary is negotiable based on a hourly rate, mileage reimbursement and all work expenses paid monthly . This would be a good role for someone that wants to work independent but part of a wider powerful Team.
