About the role

This Wellington based role is part of The Hub, Xero’s internal creative and marketing design department. You’ll work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders to execute on their design, advertising and marketing needs. This work will likely be a combination of adapting existing material, from around the global network, and creating new designs and campaign concepts.

You’ll conceptualise and craft world class design for Xero in all formats. You’ll contribute to improving the way we do things around here. Working at Xero is an opportunity to grow, develop and learn.

Our ideal candidate

We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years industry experience, who loves to produce great design work and will work closely with our team to create beautiful and innovative experiences. This role is perfect for someone looking to work in a supportive and thriving environment. As a production artist at Xero you will:

  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
  • Play a supporting role, working together with Art Directors and Designers to help execute integrated campaigns that communicate our benefits through OOH, banners, social, EDM and landing pages.
  • Work alongside the Marketing, Content & Development teams on internal presentations and communication projects.
  • Ensure project delivery meets deadlines and quality standards.
  • Champion and maintain Xero’s design lead approach

Along with finished art experience using the Adobe Creative suite, it would be a big plus if you have know-how in Keynote, AEM and Figma, but if not an eagerness to embrace new skills is welcomed.
