The Role

As part of the newly created People & Culture team, you will report through to the Chief People Officer, who you will be working extremely closely with.  You will be involved in the whole suite of HR & ER services and contribute to the successful outcome of P&C projects.  You will develop close relationships with managers and staff across Jarden Wealth Management, and advise on technical HR & ER matters, which will contribute to progressing the strategic plan for P&C within Jarden.  With a newly formed team and fresh focus on P&C, this role will be critical to a smooth transition for staff, and as such part of your role with be helping to manage this change. 


About You

You will be an experienced HR Advisor, with at least 5 years in HR related positions.  While it would be advantageous if you have a background in finance – this is not essential, it would however be helpful to have experience in working in a multi-office environment.  You will be a change management champion, and have the maturity and resilience required to implement new processes within a long-standing and complex business.  In addition, you will possess the following:

  • Current knowledge of NZ HR Practices, and NZ employment Legislation
  • 5+ years in a HR related positions, with a strong background in Employee Relations (ER)
  • A demonstrable ability to build solid relationships
  • A tenacious mind-set, and drive to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm with a strong work ethic and collaborative working style
  • Strong prioritisation, change management and administration skills
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources
