He angitūtanga: The opportunity

You’ll have the opportunity to use your solid organisational skills to provide efficient administration support, ensuring the smooth running of our Auckland Council building consent and resource consent processes. This is a customer focused role which will allow you be part of our hardworking and supportive team environment. Our team strives to provide the best quality service possible to our customers. With a “can do” attitude there is real progression opportunities for you within the team and wider Auckland Council, including the potential for permanent employment.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

To be successful in this role you will be system savvy, able to easily adapt to new technology and have previous experience in administration. Your excellent communication skills will help you excel in this customer focused role. A proactive nature along with your great attention to detail skills and understanding of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, etc) will strengthen your application. Having a good understanding of building legislation and previous SAP experience would make your application stand out.

You’ll be joining a team of passionate administrators, who are working towards providing the best local and regional building consenting services for Aucklanders. Our team is results-driven and genuinely want to help our customers to realise their property dreams. This varied role offers you a different challenge every day and will offer you empowerment of your own learning to enable you to continually grow your knowledge within our team. 

This is a Part-time, opportunity based in South Auckland working 24hours per week (between Monday to Friday – no weekends!). Apply today to be considered for this role to begin your career with Regulatory Services at Auckland Council.
