Sales & Administration Assistant

The Opportunity

Administrative People Person Required!

A newly created position in our Dunedin branch. This is a varied position with a heavy focus on online hire/sales enquiries, administrative support for 3 of our satellite branches across the South Island (Dunedin, Cromwell, Invercargill) and assisting with any overflow of customer queries from these locations. The position would ideally suit a well organised, proactive and detail focussed individual with strong administrative skills, in particular the knowledge and use of excel and a CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the 3 sites (reporting, filing, accounts payable)
  • Branch operations support; forklift operation, stacking containers, loading and unloading trucks
  • Responding to Web Leads received through online enquiry for 3 sites
  • Providing transport booking support across the sites
  • Assisting with overflow of hire/sales queries and providing customers with accurate information on our products
  • Providing customer quotes and follow up enquiries

About you

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office suite skills
  • Forklift licence essential, with F endorsement highly desired
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal and experience having supported remote colleagues
  • Ability to travel across the 3 sites from time to time.
  • Experience in sales and customer service

We are supportive of personal and professional growth and enjoy promoting within when we can. The position is based at our Dunedin satellite.  The position is paid a salary package and comes with the opportunity to earn a bonus on an annual basis.
