Senior Sales Executive

The Opportunity

Our Timaru Customer Service Centre currently has an opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive to join the team. This position requires a multi-tasker, an articulate communicator and a passionate provider of solutions and customer service.  

 

This fast-paced role will require you to respond to inbound customer enquiries through phone, email, walk-ins and will require you to achieve hire & sales conversion opportunities that are tracked to target. You will also need to be proactive as this position will also require you to actively seek out and action outbound hire/sales activities and will have you actively marketing your business and building your community brand awareness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Running the branch like it is your own business, actively marketing your business in the community and building a network.
  • Understanding of business financials, P&L’s and budgets
  • Obtaining extensive product knowledge to ensure you are able to provide exceptional customer service and sales solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide quotes to customers in relation to their enquiries and provide detail in a timely manner
  • Manage customer enquiries in regards to accounts, products and services
  • Create opportunity for sales conversions and hires

 

About you

  • Experience in sales and working toward KPI’s and targets
  • Business and financial acumen – marketing, P&L’s, Budgets and business strategy
  • Ability to work autonomously but still engage with the remote team
  • A people person, ability to build rapport and willing to go above and beyond for our customers
  • Clear and articulate communication both written and verbal
  • Proactive by nature and have solution-based mind set
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy

Working predominantly Monday to Friday with a versatile product range, this role provides endless opportunity for those with the business nous and an ambitious streak. The position is paid a salary package and comes with the opportunity to earn a bonus on a quarterly basis as well as a company vehicle.
