Team Leader - Client Onboarding

The Client Integrity Unit (CIU) is a recently established function in Operations to create a centre of competence for RANZGs first line responsibilities in the completion, review, maintenance and administration of the various Financial and Economic Crime (FEC) activities. The Client Onboarding team supports Rabobank New Zealand in the New Client Onboarding for our Country Banking business, working closely with our Agribusiness Managers.

 

The Client Onboarding Team Leader will efficiently and competently lead a successful, specialised Client Onboarding team who will handle all RANZGs first line responsibilities in the completion, review, maintenance and administration of the various FEC compliance activities including:
 

  • Ensure clients are onboarded in an efficient manner consistent with relevant policy and procedure.
  • In compliance with KYC/Due Diligence requirements (AML/CTF Act) as well as international regulatory requirements including, but not limited to US FATCA, CRS, derivatives based regulations, DFA, EMIR, DODD Frank and ASIC.
  • Work closely with Compliance team to ensure effective integration of any new and/or changes to existing regulatory requirements into existing processes minimising impact to clients and front office, develop useful applicable training and reference guides and act as a first point of contact for regulatory enquires from the front office.

 

The role holder will be expected to work collaboratively with the Operations and Compliance teams, along with their team members. There will be a high level of engagement required with stakeholders especially the branch network.
