About the role:

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial part of the management family, stepping into the Store Managers shoes when required. This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the Store Manager in the day to day functioning of the store while also playing a vital role in engaging and motivating your team to bring technology out of the box, off the shelf and to life.

We are looking for someone who will not only help develop a diverse team and promote a positive store environment, but who also has a key focus on retail excellence and understand what it takes to drive sales, maintaining exceptional store standards, and keeping our customers happy and loyal!

Reporting to the Store Manager you will assist in leading your store to produce great results and will lead the way by working with your team to achieve success. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting in leading a sales culture in your store through effective collaboration with the Store Manager in coaching and developing team members
  • Working alongside the Store Manager to execute plans to drive performance and maximise profitability
  • Understanding the shrinkage risks in-store and preparing for stock takes
  • Ensure all customer queries are dealt with in an appropriate manner
  • Ensure all promotions are implemented to the required standards
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • To display integrity in all interactions with customers and in the approach to work tasks
  • To continuously find areas to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining a safe environment for our people and our customers
  • Undertake responsibility for the running of the store when the store manager is not in-store

 

About you:

Experience required:

  • 2+ years management experience
  • 2+ years retail experience
  • Strong communication skills to effectively lead and engage team members to interact with our customers and influence sales
  • A good understanding of what drives business performance
