Kiwi Discovery is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator! Based at Auckland International Airport, we’re looking for someone who can work approx. 20 hours (negotiable) per week. We’re not fussed about your working schedule – choose your own hours!
You will be looking after HR across nine stores all based at Auckland Airport. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will be handling end to end recruitment and general HR admin duties. This role may be of interest to students as you will gain exposure to higher level HR work such as performance reviews, performance management, disciplinary procedures, work visa/immigration procedures, etc. Full training is provided.
You will be joining a multicultural team with a low staff turnover and a strong work-life balance. We will provide you with a car park, free meals, and generous clothing and merchandise discounts across our stores.
Here’s who we’re looking for:
Experience is not necessary, although it helps if you have some basic knowledge of HR or employment legislation. What’s more important is your attention to detail, ability to work independently and reliably, and great people skills. Good communication skills are a must, as well as reasonable computer literacy.
This job may be ideal for a parent looking to work within school hours; or a student seeking work around their study schedule. We are happy to offer flexible leave around holiday/exam periods.
Kiwi Discovery Ltd started off as a small family owned business in 1997. Today we employ close to 100 employees across nine retail and F&B stores including Kiwi Discovery Tax Free Shop, Icebreaker TouchLab, Halong Bay, Popo Dumpling, Silk Road, and Sushi Bar Hayama restaurants. With over 30 major business awards to our name, we are an organisation that focuses on excellence and employee welfare.
If this sounds like something you’d love to do every day, we definitely want to hear from you. Please email your CV and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org with the reference HRC. Also include in your cover letter your eligibility to work in NZ (residency/work visa). Thanks!
