Associate Director Divisional Communications and Marketing

As the Associate Director Divisional Communications & Marketing you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the University of Waikato’s divisional marketing and communication strategies and plans. You will provide leadership to the Divisional Communications and Marketing team and senior support and leadership to Management School. You will be responsible for enhancing the University brand and meeting the University’s strategic goals through; stakeholder engagement, the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, communications, advertising and marketing collateral. 

 

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in a communications/marketing role at a regional, national or international level ideally. You maybe currently plying your trade within a DHB or a Council, although not essential. You will have a strong understanding the complexities of working in an academic environment and will be skilled at delivering across a co – location model, more so you will have proven experience in unifying the way they work. Customer centricity is at the forefront of everything you do, and your exceptional stakeholder management experience would have brought you demonstrable success throughout your career.
