Territory Manager

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for service and growth in our hardware and selected garden centre channels - this promises to be both challenging and rewarding. 

You will build the Yates brand profile by maximising key opportunities, providing innovative solutions and establishing and maintaining influential relationships. 

If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, are customer focussed and have strong sales and analytical skills – this role is for you! You will be constantly juggling multiple tasks and competing priorities, but your drive to succeed and exceed will keep you motivated.

 

About You:

To be considered for this key position will be driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously. You will bring a capable and positive work ethic and will be motivated by chasing and closing a sale. Ideally you can demonstrate:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role ideally with a passion or knowledge for horticulture;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications with a natural ability to build rapport;
  • The ability to drive results and meet sales targets;
  • Previous experience dealing in a retail environment;
  • The ability to provide comprehensive analysis of your customers’ business and strategically influence outcomes;
  • Exceptional time management and forward planning skills.
