Facilities Coordinator

We are searching for an energetic and developing Facilities Coordinator to join the Centre Management team at The Base Shopping Centre in Hamilton.

Listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange, Kiwi Property has been around for more 25 years and has in its $3.2 billion property portfolio some of the country’s best shopping centres and office buildings.

A little taster of what your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver appropriate service and support to customers and tenants.
  • Deliver sustainability targets and improvement initiatives for the centre.
  • Effective negotiation and cost management of service contracts to the centre.
  • Management of health and safety systems and procedures including hazard management and emergency management.
  • Efficient and timely response/resolution of stakeholder queries and issues.

What we are looking for?

  • You’ll have 1-3 years of experience in a similar or related role
  • Tertiary or technical qualification not essential but beneficial

This is a high ownership, proactive role so you must enjoy dealing with people and rolling up your sleeves to deliver results. The role would suit someone who is passionate and energetic about managing retail buildings to provide a great shopping and working environment. You will also have sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and be able to organise your time well around multiple deadlines.
