Parts Manager - Hamilton

Porter Parts is New Zealand’s market leader in Heavy Equipment parts. We are seeking a Parts Manager at our Global Headquarters in Hamilton. The Parts Manager will not only ensure the effective management and profitability of this branch but will also be part of a dynamic team of Porter Group Managers that continues to drive support and service in the Heavy Equipment industry across our National branch network.

The person we are looking for would be self-motivated with sound experience across a range of machines and parts in the heavy equipment industry, you will not be afraid of hard work and will have strong organizational skills, you will need to be able to provide strong leadership. Along with this you will have a proven history of achieving strong sales results and developing an experienced team to grow their sales with your excellent communication and leadership skills, the development and execution of sound business planning, med-strong computer skills with a willingness to learn and succeed.

This role will require you to be both in the branch and out on the road, although you will have a Sales Rep operating in your region it would be expected that you would spend time on the road meeting and building relationships with current and potential customers.

Porter Parts has a long history of operating in the Waikato region and this is an area that we see the potential for strong growth in and we are looking for the right person to work with to achieve this.
