Account Executive



The Account Executive will effectively contribute to the management and growth of a portfolio of clients ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met. The role provides support and works with the Corporate Risk Solutions team to develop meaningful relationships to our large and corporate clients.

Key areas of accountability will include all aspects of client servicing, including, client facing meetings, preparation of client documentation, managing renewals, assistance with claims management, client database management, and liaison with underwriters.

The Role:

In conjunction with the Branch Manager, Account Manager/Director(s) and others that make up the Corporate Risk Solutions team , ensure that the client’s risk management and insurance broking programmes are administered to ensure the delivery of high quality services

  • Prepare client documentation e.g renewal questionnaires, quote slips, client manuals
  • Prepare invoice documents, including premium funding quotes
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of documentation prepared and obtain approval for all client documentation prior to distribution
  • Provide support to Senior Brokers in managing larger clients insurance and risk management and programs, ensuring the delivery of high quality services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Maintain comprehensive client data on Willis systems, facilities and databases 
  • Compare renewal terms with previous year and advise broker of any changes
  • Work in conjunction with the offshore Operations Support team (Mumbai) to ensure the preparation and delivery of documentation.
  • Liaise with Operations on any issues the team may be having and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Respond to client claims calls and enquires and provide advice on the claim process
  • Liaise with insurance assessors as required 
  • Manage workflow and diary systems, ensuring agreed claims standard are achieved and timely settlement of claims
  • Apply WTW Client Service protocols and compliance procedures 
  • Maintain the claims database ensuring timely updating of all information
  • Ensure premium funding offered to all clients, debtor collections in accordance with terms of trade and no client placements outside of approved insurers
  • Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools 
  • Support team to ensure compliance with all specified business management processes
  • Manage, as directed, all general administrative tasks in accordance with timeframes and WTW standards
  • Assist with general administrative tasks across the wider office
  • Maintain electronic filing in a timely manner
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
     

The Requirements:
 

  • Degree qualified in relevant disciplines (Arts, Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance)
  • Insurance qualification desirable
  • Ability to support and develop relationships 
  • Sound oral & written communication skills 
  • Excellent report writing and correspondence skills
  • Ability to prioritise work, manage deadlines and work under pressure
  • A team player with ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trust
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Good understanding of internet and intranet applications and usage.
  • A quick learner and the desire to take on additional duties when required.
