Operations Administrator

We constantly strive to improve our operating processes, to preserve and enhance the quality of our seafood and protect our pristine resource.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Operations Administrator to join our Logistics team on a full time, permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position supports the administration of both the production and logistics operations at our seafood processing plant at Sulphur Point, Tauranga. 

If you have experience in inventory, strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and initiative then this is the role for you!

Key tasks include:

  • Support stock take and reconciliation processes
  • Undertake stock control processes, such as tracking stock movements and transfers
  • Ensure raw material is scanned to Production
  • Coordinate and administer customer orders
  • Ensure daily production administrations tasks are completed
  • Ensure the factory scales show the correct information
  • Maintain product codes
  • Perform administration duties, such as scanning files and labelling

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Strong computer skills, with experience using inventory and/or accounting software
  • Experience in inventory control
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive can-do attitude and to be a team player
  • Clear communication skills – verbal and written
  • The ability take initiative and go the extra mile
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities

As this role supports our processing team, the standard hours of work are 6.00am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday, but flexibility with these hours can be discussed.
