We have two vacancies within our Engagement team for Community Advisors. Working together, the roles cover the following work areas:
Engagement of InternetNZ members and the New Zealand Internet community
Administration of Community Grants
Development of Partnership funding and relationships
Funding Panel support
Administration of databases, processes and website
Community engagement projects, such as contributing to our flagship event, NetHui and hosting member events.
As the two Community Advisors, along with the Community Manager form a small team, it is essential that the successful applicants have the ability to undertake all of the tasks required for the delivery of team goals. Additionally a range of routine and administrative tasks will be shared between the Community Advisors.
The successful candidate will ideally have a marketing or communications qualification and must have excellent communication skills. You will have experience of developing strong external stakeholder relationships and be a proven self-starter. Strong relationships are key and you will be at ease and effective at forming and managing these both internally and externally. As a team player, you will also work with your colleagues in a helpful and supportive manner.
If you have experience working in funding, customer service, stakeholder management and/or in a membership or NGO environment and have the initiative to make a difference then these roles could be for you.
