Senior Associate - Customer Success Team

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  
You will be part of ComplyWith’s growing Customer Success Team, reporting to the Head of Customer Success.  This is the client-facing arm of ComplyWith. Their goal is to drive the success of all new and existing customers using ComplyWith’s tools.  Your role will focus on helping customers get the very best out of their ComplyWith Legal Compliance tool.
  
The ComplyWith team are looking for an experienced lawyer to manage the consultation-type services they supply to new and existing customers, including:
  • Implementing ComplyWith across new customers using their ever-evolving implementation management processes. This involves creating clarity about the customer’s business operations and mapping the legal compliance framework to those operations;
  • Managing the team to conduct reviews for existing customers to ensure they are still across their legal risks and the right people are reporting on the right things; and
  • Liaising with ComplyWith’s awesome Content Development team to help them in their mission of constantly improving ComplyWith’s content and also in relation to the development of customer-specific content.
In this role, you’ll be mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members who will assist you on each project.  You’ll also take responsibility for proposals, time-management and invoicing services, with admin support as needed. Depending on your areas of interest and strength, you will be encouraged to contribute to the development of the ComplyWith NZ business.
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of legal experience;
  • Great communication and client-facing skills. You must be a people person who enjoys helping people to do things right;
  • A strong academic record and proven technical legal analysis skills;
  • Good attention to detail and process-driven;
  • Adaptability. You will need to enjoy working with a range of diverse customers and sectors;
  • Common sense and pragmatism. You must enjoy solving challenges;
  • A positive, values-driven personality; and
  • An interest in technology and software development is a bonus.
