Steel Fixer

Complete Reinforcing is part of a proudly owned and operated New Zealand company that is at the forefront of our industry. We manufacture, supply, fabricate and place the highest quality reinforcing steel into major construction and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for an experienced Steel Fixer who doesn't mind helping out in other areas of the branch from time to time.

In addition to the preparing and placing of reinforcing steel this role will assist with our cut and bend production and help with general yard duties.

You will need:

  • At least 2+ years' experience working with structural steel reinforcing.
  • Proven ability to read, understand and interpret detail sheets, drawings and specifications.
  • To be physically fit and able to work additional hours as required from time to time.
  • To be able to work effectively within a small team.
  • To be reliable, punctual, have a great work ethic and good communication skills.
  • A full New Zealand class 4 driving licence as well as a forklift licence is preferred.
  • Some experience in truck driving and the operation of a truck mounted crane would be advantageous.as would experience in operating a hiab.

As we take health and safety seriously a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

You must have the legal right to work, and being living, in New Zealand.
