General Manager / Business Partner

Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of portable housing solutions with an innovative business model. It is a successful business with a reputation for a high-quality product and excellent service. There is a growing demand for their solutions and an increasing range of applications. 

With growth potential in the business, an exciting opportunity awaits for an exceptional leader with an entrepreneurship mindset to run the business on a day to day basis ensuring growth plans are developed and executed and production standards are met. This person will acquire equity in the business over time and eventually succeed the owners. You do not necessarily need a building or construction background.

To be successful for this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Leadership – natural leader with a ‘can-do’ business philosophy who can lead and develop people while growing the business in a sustainable fashion.
  • Sales/Relationship Management – strong ability to develop and maintain effective, sustainable and good quality relationships with staff and clients.
  • Marketing – Develop and execute marketing strategies and investigate opportunities for product innovation.
  • Operations, Business Productivity and Quality – ability to give guidance and direction for continuous operational improvements and service delivery.
  • Entrepreneurial Streak – can think outside the box and motivated by growing a saleable asset.
