Winery Engineer - Auckland Winery

Glendene, Auckland.

The opportunity

We are seeking a talented maintenance engineer to join our winery team based in Glendene in West Auckland. This exciting role will be responsible for leading the site engineering team to deliver plant reliability and to Delegat quality standards.  You will join a great team at Delegat where you will be set up for success and your career will grow.

  • You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all site plant and equipment to ensure that the bottling and packaging plan can be delivered on time and to agreed quality and productivity targets.
  • You will provide coaching and development to your team of shift maintenance engineers.
  • You will be a member of the Auckland Winery leadership team where you will contribute to the achievement of strategic outcomes for the site.

About you

  • You will hold a trade certificate in Fitting and Turning or be tertiary qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • You will have several years maintenance experience in Beverage or similar FMCG industry.
  • You will thrive working in a high performing culture delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • You will naturally have high attention to detail.
  • You will have had exposure to maintenance planning systems.
  • You will have demonstrated structured problem capability and the ability to think beyond the fix.
  • You may have experience in robotics or automation programming.
  • You have the ability to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns to a tight schedule.
  • You are able to earn respect for the way you present yourself, the way you lead, and the way you conduct business.
