Open Country Dairy’s story is a fantastic New Zealand story of growing from small origins, to a serious player in the global dairy trade. Today we are New Zealand’s largest independent dairy processor, producing a range of premium dairy ingredients which are exported globally.

We are seeking an energetic person to join our Cheese & Liquids team at our manufacturing site in Waharoa, near Matamata.

Reporting to the Cheese & Liquids Plant Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the day to day Cheese Packing duties.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Be prepared to work shifts & rosters
  • Be committed to Health & Safety and industry compliance
  • Attention to detail
  • Be a team player with a passion for manufacturing
  • Previous Dairy Industry experience would be beneficial however not necessary
