Junior Sales Consultant

What we're looking for... 
You don't need to know about tiles to work at Tile Space. And you don't need to be someone who spends all their spare time doing DIY. If retail sales are your passion, you have an interest in home interiors and you strive to provide exceptional customer service, you'll make a great Junior Sales Consultant at our Hamilton store. 
Part of a small store team, your focus will be on our retail sales area and help inspire customers to find just what they're looking for to complete their project. You'll also need to be able to help the trade side of the store ensuring they leave with the correct product to get the job done. You'll be quick to get to the heart of every customers' needs – whether it's flooring for a first home or a trade tile purchase – and find solutions that fit their requirements brilliantly. 

Who you are...
Great team player? Real people person? Someone who loves helping others? As well as being passionate about customer service, you'll need:

• The ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers
• A confident and professional manner in dealing with a variety of different customer situations
• Ability to work co-operatively with others
• Enthusiasm and a positive 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to engage and inspire customers through questioning and listening skills
• Previous experience as a Sales Assistant or working in retail sales would be a bonus
• Flexibility to cover store opening hours including weekends.
