Are you looking for a change? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ward Administration Officer to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a casual 'as and when required' basis.

About the role

As a Ward Administration Officer for our Internal Medicine Service you will be carrying out reception duties and providing essential administrative support for the ward.

About You

To be successful in this vibrant role you will be flexible, adaptable and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment. You'll have a friendly and welcoming nature and be comfortable interacting with patients both in person and on the phone. As you'll be dealing with patient information the ability to be discrete is also an absolute requirement.

Our ideal candidate looks to take ownership of their work and understands department and organisational priorities as well as having the ability to multi-task.This is a busy role and you will need to be able to effectively multi-task whilst keeping a smile on your face and a spring in your step!

The salary range for this position is from $37,788 - $42,740 per annum (pro rata) and will be based on qualifications and relevant experience. As this is a casual role providing cover for staff's annual leave/other absences it is essential that you have a degree of flexibility, and may be able to step in with relatively short notice.
