Law Postgraduate Research Programme Co-ordinator

Law School, Faculty of Business and Law - Part-time (0.6 FTE )

Permanent - City Campus

AUT's Law School is looking for an exceptional Programme Co-ordinator to contribute to effective administrative support to the School staff. This role is a 0.6 FTE, preferably spread out over four days per week.

The Programme Co-ordinator will provide administrative support for the LLM and related programmes. They will be responsible for supporting the establishment and maintenance of academic information and systems relating to programme support. This role will be the point of contact for the Law Postgraduate Research students and will ensure enquiries relating to admissions, enrolments, student progression, academic results and records are processed effectively and efficiently.

The Programme Co-ordinator will contribute to a culture of success and excellence by providing high-quality support and services to the School while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. There is a strong emphasis on facilitating effective communication between School and University staff, building relationships with key stakeholders to develop trust, and enhancing our reputation for excellence.

The Programme Administrator must be able to work independently in this position and to follow established guidelines and procedures within the regulatory framework to complete the range of duties required by this role.

You will have previous programme administration experience, ideally in the tertiary education sector. Some knowledge of the Law would be an advantage. For your application to be successful you must hold at least a Bachelor's degree, be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of MS packages (Word and Excel) and prior knowledge of ARION (Student Management System) and CRM or similar would also be an advantage. You must be a team player with exceptional communication and people skills.
