Who we are

Dog food disruptors! We are reinventing the way people buy their pet food and care for their furbabies. Pet parents can now get their furbaby’s food delivered to their door in sustainable packaging with a Feed My Furbaby subscription.  No more running out of food or lugging around big heavy plastic bags. Our fabulous food is all natural, made in NZ and good for the environment. We are an exciting start-up company with huge plans for growth. Having secured some seed funding, we now need a marketing and customer care superstar to join our small team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurially minded individual wanting to join us on our exciting journey.

What you’ll do

Your duties will be varied, and your creativity will help drive the scope of your roll. Ideally we want someone with a marketing background who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into customer care as well as help the the marketing campaign and projects. 

We need assistance with designing and executing our marketing plan as well as managing customer care for our existing and new customers. For our customers, you need to demonstrate real care and empathy and a love of dogs will ensure your commitment is genuine.

Your typical day would be:

·   Managing and executing the social media content calendar

·   Managing customer enquiries – web chat/ email/ FB/ Insta / phone

·   Creating and designing content

·   Assistance with social media advertising

·   Assistance with e-commerce campaigns (design and execution)

·   Assistance with EDM campaigns (design and execution)

Where you’ll fit in

Location: the Icehouse in Parnell – and our office is dog friendly!!

Hours: 40hrs pw - can be less pro-rate if desired. Daily hours can be flexible between the 8am – 6pm. Some flexibility to work from home. Some after hours work is required e.g. dog events/shows

Reporting: Reporting to the business co-founders

What you’ll bring with you

  • 2-5 years work experience in a related field 

  • Digital marketing experience

  • Customer service experience

  • A fun, energetic and creative personality

  • Flexible can do attitude   

  • A love of furbabies!
