healthAlliance (FPSC) Limited provides Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain services to the Northern Region District Health Boards. Our support services help the DHBs to deliver healthcare by bringing solutions and enhancing service performance during every interaction along the patient journey. We are a diverse business, with strong leadership which is undertaking a transformational journey around an integrated finance, procurement and supply chain shared service.  You will be excited about working alongside our DHB partners, and in turn, enabling them to focus on assisting and supporting our communities to be healthy and independent.

 

Supply chain manage over 1,000 storage locations within the Auckland region, which contain around 150,000 items, ranging from general items like plasters to pacemakers, and it’s vital they are in the right place at the right time and that’s where you come in!

  

About the role:

This is a great opportunity to be part of the Supply Chain team based in Whangarei, servicing the Hospital and all NDHB sites. You will be working with the inwards goods team picking and packing orders, general warehouse maintenance, delivery and distribution within the main hospital campus and Northland.  You will also be trained to use scanners and become proficient in all warehouse and supply chain operational procedures. 

 

Who are you?
 

We are seeking someone who is able to think quickly, has some computer competency and is an effective self-manager with excellent time management skills. You will be proactive and committed to quality/continuous improvement. You are an excellent communicator; enjoy working in a fast pace environment and the ability to service customers in a high pressure environment.

 
This position does involve heavy lifting and moving of large items on a daily basis, so applicants must have a good standard of fitness.
