Corporate Solicitor

Join our growing Legal team on a part-time(24hrs/week) basis!

Come and collaborate with our business leaders by providing timely, accurate and high-quality legal advice. Work in a friendly and small team and facilitate the business with achieving its strategy, initiatives and objectives to mitigate the legal risk and make a positive contribution to Fidelity Life.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner and advise our Executive and Senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Contract formulation, review of claims, consumer law and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate and connect with the legal team with the sharing of expertise and knowledge.
  • Lead projects that will shape the future of our company and industry.

ABOUT YOU

For this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • At least 3- 5 years’ post qualification expertise working in a corporate or commercial environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a client focused role and team environment.
  • Proven ability in Stakeholder engagement and connecting with business leaders.
  • High level of conflict management and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry (helpful but not required).
