The Role

A terrific opportunity has arisen for a General Insurance Adviser to join our Auckland team.

Our team is committed to providing strategic advice, innovative solutions and service excellence to large middle market business and small to medium enterprises.

As a General Insurance Adviser you will provide strategic insurance advice to clients including both commercial and domestic insurance. Additionally, you will be managing the full life-cycle of general insurance policies for clients, having the opportunity to quote and gaining client acceptance through to creating the policy and where required, assisting clients to make insurance claims. The General Insurance Adviser will generate revenue by winning new clients whilst continuing to service existing relationships to drive loyalty and retention.

The successful candidates will be organised, proactive and deadline-focused along with;

· Extensive experience in a sales role.
· Strong commercial acumen
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent sales aptitude
· Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
· Solid negotiating and influencing skills
· Diploma of General Insurance or equivalent and/or insurances sales experience is desirable but not a necessity.
