Social Work Resource Assistant - Tauranga

Do you enjoy managing business relationships, are organised and have good attention to detail? We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Tauranga team where you'll draw on your problem solving ability to find solutions to challenges within tight deadlines.

To succeed in this unique opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in office administration and customer services.
  • A high level of competence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong relationship building skills and experience dealing with members of the public.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organisation, planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, use your initiative and have a sense of humour.
  • A clean, current, full driver's licence.

A Social Work Resource Assistant is a busy and varied role. You will be responsible for a range of social work administration duties including:

  • Gathering and providing appropriate information to clients and colleagues.
  • Providing case management assistance to the social work team.
  • Assisting in managing client financial plans.
  • Maintaining reports.
  • Keeping updated records on our information systems database.
