About the role

This role has responsibility for the day to day sales leadership across the Auckland territory, setting and driving sales activities that drive results, manage field operations to ensure short and long-term profit, growth and sales objectives are achieved

In conjunction with the wider team, you'll prepare strategic plans including targets and resources required to deliver to budget, execute plans and activities that support the sales strategy to deliver growth, and coach and develop your team to ensure success and build capability.  You'll develop lead generation strategies for promotions and events, data driven procurement initiatives, mall stands, and door knocking campaigns, you name it! This is a hands-on role, out there driving the team.

Skills and experience

  • An extensive sales background with demonstrated sales achievements
  • Strong track record of direct sales methods, and ideally direct marketing knowledge and lead generation
  • Experienced leading a sizeable sales team
  • Good knowledge of sales behaviours, motivators, and strategies for engaging and leading a sales team
  • Able to prepare sales plans and strategies
  • Loads of self-motivation and drive
  • Commercial and finally astute
