HR Advisor

The Rockshop is undoubtedly the industry leader in their market – selling the world’s best brands of musical instruments and equipment.  Established back in 1986, the Webb Group now has 27 retail stores nationwide across their Rockshop and KBB Music brands.  New Zealand owned and operated the Rockshop is a household name, synonymous with professional sales and service, the best available products and a proactive commitment through partnerships to local artists and the NZ Music Industry.

Due to growth, this newly created role will join a close-knit HR team based at the Head office in Auckland. Reporting to the HR and Operations Director based in Christchurch, you will partner with the business to provide quality HR advice and support to both managers and employees for positive outcomes.  

This generalist role with a focus on employment relations – will be the go-to for ER advice and process, support performance management and any change management programmes.  Contributing to the development of the nationwide group HR function to drive best practice and ensure policies and procedures are consistent there are also varied projects to get involved in to enhance employee engagement.   

Tertiary qualified in HR, with a solid understanding of current legislation, you can demonstrate 2-3 years in an HR Advisory role ideally within a multi-site operation.  A self-starter, you understand the importance of developing sound relationships and can influence when it counts.
