Accountant

We are looking for a business-savvy Accountant who has previous commercial experience and strong leadership skills. They will also be energetic, enthusiastic and be able to work independently to provide sound financial business reporting, analysis and value add information.

In this newly created role, you will report through to our Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for the integrity of all business financial information. Your main priorities will be to ensure our accounting systems and processes are accurate and provide quality data to support effective business decisions and operations. This role promotes work-life balance with the requirements of the position being 30-35 hours per week.

What we need from you:

  • Qualification in accounting or finance and/or a CA qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial financial accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of financial operating systems, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • An energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive approach
  • A high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with a strong work ethic
