About the role:

The Multi-Channel Account Manager (North Shore, Auckland – Northland) will be responsible for the continued development of this sales territory across all liquor channels. The day to day management and implementation of national business strategy, promotion and ranging across the territory as well as prospecting new opportunities. Reporting to the New Zealand Sales Manager, you will join a motivated team of twelve across New Zealand; working collaboratively to achieve a national result while working autonomously within your given territory. This role will require you to take ownership of the customer database and continue to maintain existing sales whilst looking for growth opportunities.

  • Customer & Partner focused – your ability to build long-term strategic and sustainable relationships, understand the customers business requirements is essential.
  • Results Oriented – With a strong drive to achieve sales results, while balancing the needs of the stakeholder triangle, you will consistently drive to deliver positive outcomes for all.
  • Planned & Organised – You will ideally have experience in developing realistic and consistent call plans, showing flexibility and adaptability with exceptional time management.
  • Visible and approachable – It goes without saying that you will be in market a lot the time; visible and available in the workplace. Timing is everything! Above all, you will take the time to understand the needs of your customer.
  • A strong communicator – Your ability to communicate openly and honestly, in a timely manner both internally and externally is paramount.
  • Our ideal candidate will also have a huge passion for wine and beer!

Your skills and experience should ideally include:

  • 2+ years sales experience within Liquor or FMCG
  • A proven track record of high-level sales achievement and experience delivering business results.
  • Current and valid driver's licence
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Wine &/or beer knowledge preferred, but not essential
