Located in the heart of Marlborough's wine region, this successful and growing 15,000 tonne winery has an opportunity for a technician to join their talented team.

 

About the role

 

We are looking for a full-time Laboratory and Compliance Technician to work with the Laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely laboratory analysis as well as assist the Quality and Compliance Manager to ensure continued compliance with critical industry programs.

The role has a strong focus on compliance and the development of a compliance culture, as well as an administrative focus.

 

Skills and experience

 

You will have great attention to detail, with the ability to research and analyse information. Naturally task focussed, you will be methodical and accurate.

You will be prepared to learn and become proficient with all laboratory systems and procedures as well as become fully immersed in the compliance culture required to achieve and maintain external audit certifications.

Additionally, you will bring strong writing skills, be an organised team player and have good attention to detail. Computer skills are essential. You will always be looking for ways to improve and maintain high levels of client service.
