Territory Manager - Talley's

Talley’s Group is a privately-owned New Zealand company based in the South Island, with teams spanning across the country producing and supplying NZ grown and packed food products.

The point of difference for Talley’s beyond impeccable quality of all its food products, is that the products are grown, harvested, processed and distributed in New Zealand. This means every product has a reassuringly traceable provenance back to the clean, natural seas and fields of New Zealand.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join an experienced Field Sales Team, reporting directly to the NZ Retail Sales Manager. There is real potential to grow sales in this territory through effective management of the call cycle, developing exceptional relationships with key grocery customer, driving sales leads at store level and ensuring core range distribution.

To be successful, you will either have previous FMCG sales experience or can demonstrate exceptional motivation, passion and drive to succeed in a competitive environment.  You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels and an ability to effectively negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. You will also have sound problem solving, decision making and effective communication skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to a team outcome. 

Regular travel is required, and you will be armed with all the tools and resources you need along with a competitive salary and a company car.   You would ideally be based in Central Auckland, West Auckland or North Shore to successfully manage the territory.
