The Role

The Executive Officer, Member Engagement positively influences the member experience by offering information, promotion and assistance to Aotearoa NZ Fellows, Trainees, potential new members, the general public and other clients who make inbound contact with the College.

Responsibilities

Member Support

  • Act as a first point of contact to provide information to Aotearoa NZ Fellows, trainees, prospective trainees and the general public about College requirements, procedures & services (face to face, phone, email, mail, website) in alignment with RACP contact centre processes, including supporting overflow from Australia as required
  • Support the planning for and delivery of high quality member events in Aotearoa NZ, including onsite and external events, awards, workshops and other member engagement activities
  • Work collaboratively across College Directorates to deliver value to members through the coordinated delivery of member services and support, and member engagement initiatives in Aotearoa NZ
  • Provide secretariat support for committee meetings as required, including agendas and minutes, drafting reports and correspondence, and taking follow up action
  • Provide administration and support for the Member Engagement and Communications team activities

Reception

  • Maintain and set up meeting rooms and provide technical support for zoom/teleconference meetings
  • Order and serve catering, tea and coffee as requested by meeting organiser
  • Coordinate Aotearoa NZ Office mail and courier services
  • Support induction of new staff members
  •
