About the role

 

The Central region ranges from Taranaki across to the Hawkes Bay and down to Wellington. There are multiple offices throughtout the region and frequent travel will be required.

Ideally the role will be based in Wellington however there will be some flexibility on location for the right candidate.

You'll be responsible for the regions operations and sales, ensuring short and long-term profit, growth and sales objectives are achieved.

A large chunk is around leadership, developing the team, coaching & mentoring to bring the bench strength up, and developing the culture.

This role has a neat mix of hands-on driving the business and sales in the region, along with developing the strategy; understanding current and potential revenue streams and identifying opportunities for growth.

Skills and experience

 

  • Extensive sales management experience across multiple locations, resulting in consistently achieved results
  • Very financially literate including P&L management
  • Strategic and commercially astute
  • Demonstrated experience successfully developing teams capability and culture
  • Strong leadership skills, a coach & mentor, yet able to make the tough calls when required
  • B2C channel experience; consumer products industry and big ticket in-home solutions
  • As a resilient and tenacious leader, you'll be authentic in you style, down to earth and real
