Territory Manager - Convenience

At Mondelēz International, our purpose is to empower people to snack right. We will lead the future of snacking around the world by offering the right snack, for the right moment, made the right way. That means delivering a broader range of delicious, high-quality snacks that nourish life's moments, made with sustainable ingredients and packaging that consumers can feel good about. As part of our exciting journey returning to a local-first working model, we’re committed to offering Kiwi consumers great products from our global portfolio, while continuing to make and develop innovative products just for our local fans.

Here in New Zealand you’ll recognise our famous brands - Cadbury, Pascall, Oreo, The Natural Confectionery Company and Philadelphia to name just a few. We’re constantly changing and innovating - we have fantastic people who do amazing things for our business and their own careers, every day.

We currently have a vacancy for a Territory Manager – Convenience & Alternative channels, where your ultimate goal will be to strategically grow sales within your territory. Responsible for the key Upper North Island convenience outlets, you will be expected to work alongside our distributor partners to maximise Mondelez sales by driving Perfect Store standards in each outlet. You’ll also work closely with the Account Manager – Alternative Channels to provide account and promotional support which will provide you with plenty of scope for personal & professional development - As a result, this role may require you to be in our Avondale office, potentially once a fortnight.

To be successful, you will have previous experience in FMCG in a field sales or business development role. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels in a fast-paced environment is key, as is your ability to effective negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.

You must have sound problem solving, decision making and effective communication skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously. You will have strong commercial acumen and enjoy identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to drive growth. Above all, you must strive for continuous improvement; to be that little bit better each day.

We’ll arm you with all the tools and resources you need: a supportive manager who will help you achieve your goals whilst providing plenty of development opportunities for further growth as well as dedicated training days and access to our online Mondelez International University.

You’ll also get a competitive salary, a company car, incentive, superannuation, health insurance and of course chocolate and other treats!

If you're looking to grow your skills and career with an industry leader, we’d love to hear from you!

Please note: All candidates require working rights of this country to perform the role.

Mondelēz International respects individual differences that make us unique and promotes an environment that is welcoming, inclusive of all employees and values the diversity of our work environment.
