Project Delivery Manager

We are seeking an energetic and proven leader to run a Project Management practice.


Our client is looking for an established people leader to build a truly world class Project Management capability in a high profile branch of a critical Ministry.

The role forms part of a crucial project delivery leadership group that has a significant challenge ahead of them both in terms of capability uplift and executive expectation. Key responsibilities include:
  • Setting 'horses for courses': identifying the right talent to take on the right challenge;
  • Delivery oversight: Knowing where the roadblocks are and taking steps to remove them as well as keeping sight of high risk projects.
  • Building the culture: Establish and maintain a collegial environment through formal project frameworks and softer organisational nuances;
  • Building the team: Lead and manage onboarding of contract, FT, and permanent resource and striking a balance of experience, skills, and cultural fit.
This role will have genuine mandate to shape a practice as they see fit and align it with strategic objectives. It presents a golden career building opportunity in a Ministry with a lot to achieve.
