Bookings and Events Administrator

Weta Workshop is on the hunt for a Bookings and Events Administrator to join our lively Tourism Crew!

Our Weta Cave is the first port of call for people who love cool stuff, while our tours allow visitors to gain perspective and information regarding the vast and successful history of Weta Workshop. As a Bookings and Events Administrator, you'll be a true fan of both, willing and able to provide our current and future visitors with the best experience that they can get!

Here's the deal. As the awesomely approachable face of Weta Workshop, you'll be rubbing shoulders with not only the most passionate and dedicated fan base on the planet, but families, film fans and people from all over the world. You'll be energetic and charismatic and have a love for creativity in all its forms. Not only that, you'll be the first point of call for fans calling and emailing for assistance, so an absolute passion for our products is a must!

In this role you will:

  • Manage reservation requests
  • Maintain strong and open communications
  • Undertake administrative duties
  • Be fluent in the bookings systems
  • Provide assistance to the event staff

To qualify you'll need:

  • Confidence and charisma
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Tech savvy with strong administrative skills
  • Good time management

You'll also be a team player who is:

  • A multitasker extraordinaire equipped to handle a very busy work environment
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Flexible and reliable

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours across 5 days per week. Our hours of operation vary between 8am and 8pm, Monday - Sunday. Shifts will be set, but some flexibility to support the team will be required.
