About The Role
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer the National Field Sales Manager is responsible for growing the retail customer base and revenue through leadership of the retail sales team and retail customer management. This is a big coaching & sales leadership position where you will be responsible for inspiring a team of 9 Territory Managers across the Country and implementing best practice sales disciplines, processes & structures to drive performance. You will also support the execution of marketing campaigns & activities targeting reseller, DIY and trade end user customers.        
 
About You
This job requires a smart, savvy, enthusiastic sales leader - someone with a passion for leading people and a strong knowledge and time within a consumer related business. There is a strong preference for someone who has spent time and proven themselves in a multinational FMCG environment because of the structured sales disciplines you would bring to the business and role. This role would ideally suit someone at a Regional Sales Manager or District Sales Manager level that’s ready to step into a National role. You must be strategic and commercially astute with a high level of organisation. As the Head office is based in Hamilton you must be open to travelling down there fairly regularly but being a national role you will be required to spend time in the field with your team up and down the country.
