Wellington Museums Trust (trading as Experience Wellington) is a registered charity established by Wellington City Council as a Council controlled organisation to manage and develop its culture and arts visitor experiences.

We do this through six of Wellington city’s extraordinary visitor experiences: Capital E, Space Place at Carter Observatory, City Gallery Wellington, Nairn Street Cottage, Wellington Museum and the Cable Car Museum.


This key role requires a strong strategic leader, a positive change-agent and someone with an impressive marketing, communications and fundraising track record.  As Head of Marketing and Fundraising, you will work collaboratively across our organisation working to creatively deliver exceptional marketing and fundraising results, ensuring the organisations sustainability and ability to deliver its ten-year strategic plan.
  
Reporting directly to the CE you will contribute at an all-of-organisation level to the vision of Experience Wellington to create engaged, curious communities, via the three strategic pillars of Changing Lives, Embracing Te Ao Maori and Leading the Way.
