The Royal New Zealand Police College (RNZPC) enables New Zealand Police to deliver organisational strategy (Our Business) through training, development and leading change.  The RNZPC is looking for an administration officer passionate about delivering quality customer services to join our Training Support team. 

 

The Training Support team provides a range of administrative functions to ensure training records are well managed and logistical support activities are enabling the deployment of well-trained, fit-for-purpose police officers.

Skills:

  • Advanced data entry and dictation transcribing capabilities in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Capable of retaining strong time management skills and prioritising tasks
  • Ability to maintain both a high attention to detail and self-driven focus
  • Ability to manage and deliver own workload within a team
  • Strong customer service focus in an initiative-driven environment

 

Experience:

  • Possess proficient computer skills, and highly experienced in key Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint or relevant work experience
  • Experience working with HR data, and an understanding of training systems and processes
  • Experience in liaising with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external customers

 

Special Requirement:

  • Successful applicant must reside within the Wellington Region.
  • All preferred applicants will be required to undergo a full reference and security check prior to any offer of employment being made
