About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA), to join our Immigration Team. This robust team is spread across NZ and features 5 LIAs and 4 support staff. The Immigration team works closely with the staff in both the Sales Team, Pastoral Care team, and with offshore partners.

Our ideal candidate will be from Canterbury or North Otago, where they will be charged with setting up and opening our new office. The person will work in tandem with South Island Client Relationship Managers, and head office staff, while performing in person engagements and territory based visits to client locations as the situations require it.

The LIA can be a probationer, intermediate or senior practitioner, as fit with the team is more important than the level of experience.

We are flexible to working office location and willing to work with the new team member to build the ideal infrastructure.

 The ideal person will: 

  • Be a qualified LIA or nearly qualified;

  • Have experience setting up and running a professional office;

  • Be able to show initiative and leadership when working unsupervised;

  • Have experience working in a geographically separate team;

  • Be able to get through high volumes of work accurately and have high professional standards;

  • Be quick to learn, and thrive on feedback;

  • Enjoy a fast paced and dynamic environment;

  • Be enthusiastic about working in a multinational team;

  • Have a strong understanding of dairy farming.
