About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated, approachable person who enjoys working in a team environment, to join our Student Enrolment and Information Centre.

In this busy role you will be the main point of contact for StudyLink, answering any student fee related enquiries. You will be responsible for administering the Government Fees Free Policy on student financial records as well as advising students of the process for when employers wish to pay their students fees. Managing our Student Refund process will be another area of responsibility within your portfolio. You will work closely with staff in the Student Enrolment and Information Centre and across Wintec around the management of Student Scholarships.

You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to our students; your experience together with your ability to show empathy and problem solve will be the key to success in this role.

Are you an ideal candidate?

We are looking for a problem-solver by nature, and someone who is highly proficient with various computer software programmes, including having a good understanding of MS Excel, enjoys numbers and is able to maintain a high level of accuracy. You will have a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines; you will be able to demonstrate a passion for providing solutions to customer's needs while meeting business outcomes. Ideally you will have a good understanding of tertiary level qualifications and the tertiary education sector.

The ability to build an instant rapport with our internal and external customers, especially over the phone and proven success within a similar role is beneficial.

This role is for a .9 permanent position, this equates to 33.75 hours a week spread across five days (Monday - Friday).
