Section Administrator - Power
The Power Business
Our Power team work throughout New Zealand and Australia on high-value projects including traditional high voltage power infrastructure as well as innovative smart grids, intelligent power networks and renewable power generation.
We've honed our skills over many years providing solutions to our power generation, transmission and distribution clients across Australasia.
The Opportunity
Working with the Central Power team, in Wellington, you’ll be responsible for providing administration support to our creative, collaborative and vibrant team. This is your chance to make an impact, and see your ideas valued and put into action.
This role is part time and would suit someone who is looking for the flexibility of working up to 32 hours per week, either across the week or 4 days.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing excellent administrative assistance to the Section Manager and the team including but not limited to; orders/purchases, key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring, processing invoices, newsletter production, managing leave, organising events
  • Assisting with on-boarding, resourcing and organising training and development
  • Preparing and formatting reports, proposals, presentations and general correspondence
  • Meeting coordination, preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Updating and maintaining databases, job files, business plans and other documentation
  • Championing our technical systems for other team members
About you
You're an enthusiastic administrator with great communication skills, highly flexible and adaptable. Confident and proactive, you can build relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will love to get involved with the team and what they do, and you take an active role in creating the team culture.
Most of all you will need to be unflappable under pressure with a great sense of humour, along with a genuine desire to help.
