Shield Group located in Auckland is a reputed master builder in residential, commercial, heritage/historic and childcare centre design, construction and renovations. Currently we are in urgent need of 1 project manager, 2 site managers, 3 carpenter leading hands, and 2 carpenters and 2 bricklayers in line with our increasing projects at hand.
For a project manager, you will oversee all aspects of the building process, working closely with the engineers and architects to develop plans, establish timetables, and determine labor and material costs and are responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope. A relevant qualification and managerial work experience are required and excellent communication skills are essential. Your salary will be $75,000 or upwards depending on each individual.
For site managers, you will oversee the site operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards. Relevant qualifications and work experience are required and very good communication and coordination skills are also a must. Your salary will be in the range of $55K-65K.
For carpenter leading hands, you need to be very experienced in your skills. A basic tradesmen certificate and abundant years of carpenter experience are necessary. Your salary will be between $65K-75K.
For general carpenters and bricklayers, a tradesmen certificate and relevant work experience are required. Hardworking attitudes and can-work overtime are equally important.
