Sales Representative - TRENTS Dunedin

Trents Dunedin has a superb opportunity for an experienced, motivated and determined Sales Representative with a proactive sales approach to join our team.

The purpose of your position will be the servicing of existing Trents customers, while striving towards providing exceptional customer service at all times. A key part of the role is prospecting and securing new customers.

To be successful  in this role you will have previous experience in a sales role – FMGC would be highly regarded. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers in a fast paced environment is key, as is your ability to effectively negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. 

You must have sound problem solving, decision making and effective communication skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to a team outcome.  You will have strong commercial acumen and proven abilities in identifying and negotiating new business opportunities.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to display the following:

  • Proven sales successes in a role of similar scope - experience in the Foodservice industry would be a real advantage
  • Outstanding customer service to ensure we deliver on our customer service promise
  • Thrives on the challenge of achieving sales growth and maximising results
  • Good vision to identify sales opportunities
  • Ability to develop and build customer relationships at all levels
  • The ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
