This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an innovative leading edge company that has designed and built the first commercially viable Hydrofoil bike in the world. Having won the Gold at New Zealand's Best Awards for 2017, the company is going from strength to strength and needs more smart, agile and innovative people to join their growing team.

We are looking for a highly experienced Sales Manager to join the company's leadership team as Head of Sales and will manage the Sales team and champion the development of the Company's sales strategy, reseller channel partners and distribution channels globally.

The right person for this role will be a natural leader, well networked and comfortable operating a senior level. They will bring experience to create and execute a sales strategy to grow new partnership / reseller sales channels, while being able to guide, empower and gain greater achievement from the sales team.

The Role:
o Provide inspired leadership to a the sales, marketing and leadership team
o Lead the team to create ongoing commercial opportunities as well as developing partner / reseller growth
o Leveraging own existing network to develop new strategic Partnership relationships
o Identifying, planning and implementing sales strategies to ensure the business meets its revenue growth targets
o Coaching, developing and mentoring the sales team to achieve and exceed all sales KPI's
o Establish specific sales activities, including pipeline measurement and action planning. Improve sales processes and reduce performance barriers
o Become a valued member of the senior leadership team, adding value to the strategic growth of the company

o Professional sales leader, with a proven record of Sales Management in a R&D / Technology sector
o Well respected and well liked, with a natural ability to lead, mentor and support your team to achieve
o Ensuring the development and management of strong, mutually beneficial reseller relationships.
o Results driven: Creates a positive culture of hard work, success and reward.
o Ensures the highest standards of commercial, operational & administration governance
o Demonstrates the drive and discipline to achieve repeated success.
o Ability to attract, retain and develop talent.
o An above average technical understanding
o Hunger to keep abreast of developing technologies

It is anticipated that this individual will have already gained credibility as a Sales leader in a R&D / Technology bespoke product company that has proven experience taking products internationally. You will demonstrate a strong ambition and commercial acumen to drive all commercial business development opportunities, with a great focus on the development of the company's strategic plan.
